The past 7 months have been challenging. Rick and I moved to an island far far away from everything we have ever known. Luckily, we had friends here that took us into their island life and made us feel more than welcome and at peace with our decision. We also met some amazing people along the way and our weekends were filled with at least one new activity, which we loved.
Over the past month, or so, Rick and I have held some very lengthy in depth discussion regarding our goals for this next chapter, the post vet school lives we are now living. There are multiple factors affecting our decision but, we have decided it is time to leave Neverland and return to the heartland.
Brother John is flying into K.W next week (weather dependent) and will be helping us drive back. We are expecting to roll into central Iowa around March 1-4. The actual date depends again, upon weather. I know this all may seem very sudden, but that is because we wanted it to be a SURPRISE. Sam said we should just roll into town and act like we never left.. and for quite a while I agreed with her.. but now I think we should share the news.

Sorry if you missed out on visiting while we lived here, but if you are wanting a nice vacation I can write up a pretty epic and enjoyable tour de Key West.
